Losing someone who is not completly lost.

Yesterday i found out that one of my most beloved mentor's and friend died suddenly at his home. Professor Colin Smith had a significant influence on my life and on my husbands life as well. In fact if it wasn't for the fact that we both were his teacher assistants we may not have gotten to know each other so well and we may not be married now.

My heart is so heavy i don't have the words to say except that God is still worthy of our Praise even when we sorrow. As Colin once told me "We are not to grieve as if of the world who have no hope, for we do infact have a hope. But it is okay to cry."

I will miss this wonderful Godly man who had silly quirks like putting Cherry fruit snacks into his pepsi because a Cherry flavored Pepsi didn't taste like the real thing.

Please pray for my husband and I as we grow in this time together. Please especially pray for Colin's wife Annita who needs the grace and comfort of God in a special way. And pray for his Family.
