got me excited and thinking about how i'm going to decorate my apartment when i get it.
I'm excited to know that for the first time I have the freedom and the liberty to express myself in a way i haven't before.
I was just dropping off some pictures to get them developed and I had an hour to spare so I looked around. I looked at the bathroom collection and decided that I wanted a bathroom that I can retreat to after a long day of work and so i decided on a Kaki colored theme as well as a mixture between the great outdoors and the bahamas.
While strolling downt the bedroom collection I decided that I wanted my bedroom to have a classy feeling to it. I want my bedroom to be cheap in price but rich in feeling. It will be my own private space where I can just retreat to and dream incredible dreams..and even though i'll recognize more and more how poor I really am after getting an apartment my bedroom will be a priceless get away.
Then I debated what shall I do with my kitchen and I decided that my kitchen will be the place where I express my crazy adventures side. Which means bright dish towels and facinating cups and dishes. I want to stop people when they enter my kitchen because it will be a room of complete randomness in look but each object will have it's own delecate place.
Then my living room, that's the hardest room for me to decide what kind of theme it will have but I'll give it a try. I want my living room to be my home spot. Lots and lots of pictures all over the walls. Memories all over the room of the adventures I have been on.
It's a wonderful feeling to be free to express yourself and the things that just describe you.

Decorating: my favorite thing! I'm actually a little bit sad that I have everything for my apartment now...because it is so much fun to work on. My way of expressing myself through my apartment: happy colors, comfort, old fashioned, and simplicity.
i'm giddy...I have just the things to get you started...in a box in the garage...somewhere.....
what colors for your bedroom? Romantic and floral or ???
and shouldn't we be talking about this in person...it's not like we live together or anything : )
Yeah, I wish you were closer...I just threw away some perfectly good (and new) stuff just because Luke and I did not need it. Oh well. I'm hoping Josh will be moving out here soon, and when he does, I'm determined to help him get an apartment and fix it up! (I have not had his consent on this..but oh would it be sooo fun!)
