I haven't been the most content person in the last 2weeks i've definately wanted to be out on my own and on my 2 feet but lately small little voices have been reminding me to just live in the moment.
My friend Drew from NY reminded me that there was going to come a time when i will want back all this free time I have been having...and how once this short intermission is over I won't be given another one for a long time if ever. He reminded me to enjoy the down time i'm having..and so today I woke up with that very intention in mind.
I lived in the moment as much living as there is to do in one house..and i just enjoyed working on Vintage packages as well as doing the dishes, cleaning up after breakfast and reading a good book. I enjoyed letting a 7, 5 and 2 yr old play with my hair, put pretent make up on my face and dressing me up as a fashion gewroo. I enjoyed eating chicken chili and watching Robb spill his beer down his pants..i enjoyed laughing. I enjoyed going to Vinny and Mattie's Rock concert and pretending i was watching the greatest musicians in history, i enjoyed a little rock out myself..lol.
Then I enjoyed talking to my friend Daisy, and i enjoyed being annoiyed at all the time stoppage in football, i enjoyed annoying robb who was annoyed that I was annoyed at football..lol! Then Vanessa and I had a much needed conversation at my funky spot in life..and she reminded me that things weren't always going to be this way and someday I'll be 'used to' being an adult.
Then i enjoyed a good conversation with another good friend...and now i'm enjoying eating a bowl of Dereto's and watching a good old cheezy movie...Back to the Future II. I still think Micheal Fox is a total hottie!
So I hope you enjoy whatever it is you have to do today.
