The apartment with many mishaps

I really like the 2 bedroom apartment we live in now but I always feel bad about calling in the maintance guy for repairs...such as the garbage disposal not working, and then thursday there was the waterfall flowing down the wall in the kitchen, and Sunday was the broken air conditioner on the 88degree weather day...and now we've got ants, and then there's the blind Carl broke, not to forget the broken light switch, and of course the broken blinds....all of these in about 1 week. So does the same thing happen when you buy your own home? So glad I am renting at the moment.
