Just a little poem.

I've had a hard time with this Christan life
I've so often walked on the line
And i've understood what it means to want the grass on the other side

I've had to push my way through this jungle called 'life'
And i'm just tired of all the pain i feel inside
And just when i've begun to walk away
You call my name and remind me why i stay.

I stay with you because you know the way
I stay with you because you actually paved the way
And all though the path you lead me on is hard
You've promised that you would take me to where you are
You've promised that you would take me to where you are

I've cried many lonely nights
And i've had to hurt in order to see the light
And i've known what it is like to want the grass on the other side
Yeah, i know what it is like to want the grass on the other side

And as you've led me beyond the branches that caused you scars
You remind me why i've come this far

I've come this far because you left your home
I've come this far because you chose to have broken bones
And i've come this far because you believed that i could
If only i had someone that would choose to stay

And you stayed with me even though i was scarred
and you've stayed with my broken heart
And you 've picked me up out of the mud
and you've carried me to where you are

So beyond the branches that caused you pain
You've chosen to lead the way
You've chose to stay with a broken hearted feeble soul
that's only longing was to be made whole

And when the path i follow you on is hard
And when i've encountered a few of my own scars
And when i wish i could just walk away

You remind me of the reasons why you've chosen to stay.
