IT'S A BEAUTIFUL DAY!

I am loving weekends here at BaYouCa now that some other staff members have arrived i am finding myself not alone anymore. I was really struggling with the 'alone' factor for a while there.

This weekend at BaYouCa we had our chicken BBQ and i got to work in the camp store instead of doing dishes in the kitchen..not that i hate doing dishes in the kitchen but i needed a break from it so i chilled with Miray in the camp store.

Today Miray and i slept in a little bit and then went to the morning worship service at Faith. Then afterwards we came back to camp and did a few things and then we drove down to the mall in Binghamton and i got my hair trimmed and we shopped around and i got a really nice outfit for a wedding i'm going to on July 8th. We also had lunch and then went to Walmart and picked up a few things.

I also had a very good week. I was given the opportunity to lead the girl councelors on a wilderness trip to the state land next to camp for 2 days. I was glad that i was given the chance to exert some leadership skills on this camp and get to know my peers in away that i havent' been able to. The wilderness trip was only 2 days but it was definately still challenging.

I also recieved an expository outline of the Old Testament this weekend from some friends of BaYouCa..i was really excited about it because I'm going to try to work through the book of Isaiah this summer with a younger girl and i needed to get some information. I knew some of the basics of Isaiah before but this is a little more extensive so i'm looking forward to joining the study.

That is probably the basics of my past week and I'm sure I probably won't write again until next week.
