minor inconveniences

Today was a crazy day at work, it was a very busy day in the retailing business at Fashion Bug in Dickson City Pennslyvania. Today my store only had two people working from 5-9 and we had already had a busy day (i came in at 1). The other two people working left at 5 and then from 5-6:30 we had a crazy line full of people and only one cash ringer (i haven't been trained on the register yet). It slowed down a little bit after 6:30 but not by much..then we closed at 9 and we didn't get out till 9:40 because i am not yet a very good closer.

So then i go out to my car to leave just to realize that i had left my lights on and now my battery was fully dead....lol. Thankfully i still had 7 min left on my cell phone and called Faye who quickly sent some girls over to pick me up. So when my friends got there i wasn't just going to leave my car and they said that they saw some BBC boys go into Applebee's. So, we went into Applebee's found the young men and two came out to help me jump start my car. This took about a half hour because neither of the two guys really new how to connect the jumper cables correctly and the one had to call his dad and ask for help..about 20 min later one of the other guys who were still inside came out hooked up the two batteries and then my car was ready to go...

So all of this to say when i explained to the young men about my day and then my battery dying one said "Thats' such a bummer.." I said "Not really, its only a minor inconvenience..and a humerous one at that."

take care...
