Okay, I've lost 23pds since January. Not a real impressive amount considering I started this journey at the beginning of the year so I decided to not focus so much on the number this week as the benefits of losing such number has really made. I should state though that i have lost 13 of those 23 pds in the last 9 weeks which is also the number of weeks that I have been following weight watchers.
That said here is 23 ways of how losing 23pds has made a difference. Some are serious, and some are just little 'things' that add into my positive daily living quality.
1. I am stronger in my relationship with God (prayer and bible study has played a huge role in changing my mindset on how I view my body, health, and life)
2. I exercise 4-5days a week (never did that before I started this journey)
3. I sleep better (surprisingly)
4. I no longer carry "baby weight" that I put on with Zachary
5. I have more energy
6. My 'under pants' are way too big now...lol. I need to indulge a little and get some proper fitting ones...lol (TMI?)
7. My shirts aren't as tight.
8. My pants are beginning to get 'loose'.
9. I can see 'ab muscles' starting to form.
10. I play more with my children
11. I don't like long periods of time where i have nothing to do which leads to number
12. I am not as lazy as I once was
13. I care less of what others think about me however....
14. I care more deeply about others and how I can serve them
15 ummmm....lets just say 'personal' time with my spouse has increased
16. I have learned to be content with having one 'plate' of food
17. Chocolate no longer rules my passions
18. I can have cookies in the house and not eat them all at once
19. I am teaching my children how to be thankful for their food and not selfish about it
20. I replaced food with prayer and acts of service during lonely times
21. I am more content
22. I can now jog a whole mile
23. 23pds ago I thought that I could not lose 23pds ;)
So there you have it 23 ways that 23pds has made a difference. God is very good!
