Hedie :)

This is Ellie's 2nd favorite woman in the whole wide world. This is Miss-or is it Ms.- Hedie. Her name is actually Heather but Ellie as a 2yr old says Hedie. It is very cute. Anyways Miss Hedie has played a huge role in Ellie's life. She has watched Ellie for me on several occasions since Ellie was about 6months old. "Hedie" was the first person that Ellie grew attached to apart from her Mommy and Daddy and that meant she was the first person that Ellie welcomed with joy instead of tears when Mommy and Daddy left.  "Hedie" is the woman Ellie asks for when she gets in trouble at home for not obeying (lol, i do find this humorous) as if she is thinking that Hedie would rescue her from her punishment for disobeying when in fact Hedie would be the to re-enforce her parents loving discipline :) And Hedie is the one that Ellie excitedly does a cute stomping dance when told that we are going to go and see her.

Ellie loves her "Hedie" time and has come to need it at least once a week. Usually this time is the same time as when I go over to do our laundry. Ellie loves her special time at "Hedie's" for special things happen at Hedie's. Ellie gets to take naps in a very big girl bed, she gets to often eat gold 'fishies' (we don't have these too often here at home) and "bars" (breakfast cereal bars) she gets plenty of "juice dinks" and lots of cuddle time. She even gets to sit on Hedie's lap at some meal times.

Everything about Ms Hedie's place is magical in Ellie's eyes and this Mommy is happy about that I think we all can remember some place magical in our eyes as children. For me my dad's girlfriends house was magical-fun things-and relaxing things always happened there. For others it's Grandma's house. For Ellie it's "Hedie's"

"I need my Hedie"-Ellie cries out "I need my Hedie, oh I love my Hedie"
