The other day i was just telling Carl that it made me sad knowing that Ellie wouldn't have any cousins close to her age for a long time, if ever. Then today, my brother calls me and asks me how to spell a certain boy name. I said "Why, are you going to a birthday party?" He said, "Well, it has to do with a birthday." I said..."are you going to have a baby?" He said..."yep."
I must say I'm still in a little bit of shock. My brother is only 23 years old and has only dated this girl for about 4 months. I just got to say for obvious reasons i'm a little nervous about the whole thing...but hey, they are at least planning on keeping the baby...praise God that we don't have to worry about that and Ellie will have a little cousin someday.
Pray that Carl and I can be a good influence on them even from afar and that God will work in my brother's heart and use this to turn my brother towards him.
