Eleanor slept a whole 5 hours last night, but that only came after about 3 hours of being awake and a good 1 and 1/2 of those hours spent nursing. We called the Ped about getting her tongue clipped but still have not recieved a call back yet...Pray that they'll call cause this thing has to be taken care of soon... I know newborns nurse a lot but something tells me that something isn't right if it takes a good 1 and 1/2 hours to satisfy this little darling. And i really dont' want to give up on nursing but i'm not sure any mom can continue this for long....
I love her though...she may cry a lot but she is still a wonderful precious gift.

I had a struggle at first with nursing Jack...having to nurse and then pump when he wouldn't take to me. It was a lot of time but I look back on it now and it was worth it. He has never had an ear infection and was not sick at all until this winter and then it was a cold and then a stomach bug. I know it's hard but it's worth it in the end...keep up with it...it will get better.
