Carl is at his new work today getting trained on how to do sales. It's not the most glamorous job but we are thankful to have some income coming in now so we can save our savings for baby bills...
I'm trying to be a good wife and get the house cleaned up for him today, as we are going to let him open his presents tonight since he will need most of them tomorrow...I'm looking forward to giving them to him. We decided that he would get the presents this year because he needs them right now where as the things i need can wait and I'm surprisingly happy to do it. It's great to be able to remember and practice that Christmas is a season of giving and there is a lot of joy to be had in giving.
On Christmas morning i'm going to try to make homemade cinnamon rolls...we'll see how they turn out I'll have to try to remember to take a picture of them if they turn out well.
I hope you have a joyful holiday season with your loved ones.

Not at all to dispel the "good wife" comment..but..please remember that you and being a wife is a whole LOT more than a clean house.
Thinking of you during this time. We went through Kentucky on our trip South..maybe that's why you've been so much on my mind.
