My man's new office

Today is Carl's first day with his sales job and I must say that I am extremely proud of him. Proud of him because despite this job not being what he was looking for he still trusts that God is bigger than a job.

This morning we were going over some different sale pitches and Carl was so nervous he couldn't think straight. I then gently reminded him not to look at himself to get these sales but to look at our heavenly Father, whom for some reason, has given him this job over all the others he has applied for; which tells me that He has a purpose in it, and a purpose for it. And with that said we can have trust and confidence that our God is capable of doing even what seems impossible.

So I told Carl that instead of looking at himself to get his needed 5 sales a day, to keep his eyes focused on our Lord and His capabilities.

And after a good, hearty breakfast, some time in prayer and scripture together, my wonderful husband left for work with a smile on his face and hope in his heart.

I'm very proud of him no mater what the sales day ends up looking like...I'm proud that he is at least trying.

I mean just look at him...how could i not be?
