Sometimes we just need a small reminder

I've been reading a couple of books since i moved to Maryland. Carl and I love to read together, it's become the time when i feel as though we are doing 'nothing' and he feels as though that we are doing 'something' so we both win.

We have been reading the Chronicles of Narnia together and I have read further along than he has but have no issue with him re-reading me things that i have already read-there is just so much in that book how could one only read it once? Anyway, as I've said we have been reading this and the chapter I just read the other day comes from the book The boy and his horse...and the boy, Shasta, meets the great Aslan.

Now I have heard of the parallelisms that C.S. Lewis makes between Aslan and Christ but I am beginning to see this correlation for myself.

I am not the most splendid writer so I will not attempt to write anything really significant or of influence right now...but i will say that lately I've been feeling like I'm just getting to know my first love all over again...something is being rekindled, something has been re-ignited..and I'm loving it.
