I want to thank everyone who commented on Would you get Marriage Counseling? It was good to know that my lack of experience in the marriage degree didn't keep me from giving my good friend some decent advice.
I've also been very thankful to know those of you who are married. I grew up in a one parent home, and did not get the chance to see how marriages work through the good and the bad times. I have no memories of seeing marriages work until i met Robb and Vanessa who have been so opened and real with me about their lives.
I can't help but realize that its been people like Robb and Vanessa, Aaron (whose so honest about his life) and JT, Donna and Don, Amy and Kevin who have all allowed glimpses of marriages. I'm glad that the way i view marriage isn't this fairy tale story but something that takes commitment, self-sacrifice, and love.
I was telling Vanessa the other day about how blessed I am that God wouldn't let my own personal background keep me from learning more about His plan for two people.
Everything that has happened in my life has all been extremely humbling because there were points in my life when i could only dream of being apart of a loving community of people. However i never thought that i would actually find it. So i think a part of me stopped searching when i was younger. I gave in to what i thought would be a destiny of loneliness, heartache, despair and hopelessness. Then God heard the cries of a tired and feeble soul, found it, and carried it into love.
So thanks everyone for being a part of that love story in my life. You have all been a blessing.

your welcome, although sometimes you ended up with some real life glimpses of our family! It's probably good to see the good, the bad, and the ugly.
