A great Adventure

It's been an interesting couple of weeks as the craft lady here at BaYouCa. To be real honest it isn't my particular cup of tea. I didn't grow up doing crafts and art was not something i was very good at in school so to be the craft lady is definatelly a stretch...a very big stretch.

Being that this is most likely my final summer at BaYouCa i've been trying to soak as much as possible in. God has greatly used this place to change me and to help me to see other areas that he has gifted me in. I like the fact that i have a variety of ministry's underneath me all which i believe have helped to prepare me for my move to Arkansas.

Yesterday i went to a friends house for the day and I spent some quality time at a book sale, a nice little ice cream/restaurant, a book store, walking in the rain, playing bad mittin and baseketball, and just sleeping on a couch. At one point we walked over to a church and being out in the country side i just took in the view...and i thanked God for the small amount of time that i have lived in this part of the states.

I'm learning to 'live in the moment' as a good friend of mine has said. I'm learning to enjoy the small pleasures that this earth has to offer and i'm learning to worship God through and in those small delights. I'm more thankful for life now than i was just a few months ago and even just a few weeks ago. I'm more thankful for this adventure that God has allowed me to live out.
