Today I went to go see my pregnant friend Stephanie who is about to deliver this baby in about a month, we had a good time playing a game of scrabble (which i started out winning but then was really losing by the end of the game).
Now, Stephanie lives an hour away from BBC and i of course was listening to my "LIFE SONG" on my cd player which runs on batteries because it is attached through an extension. Well, i knew that the batteries were dying but I seriously had hoped they would last me for the car ride back to school. Sure enough, you guessed it, they died about 5 minutes after i left stephanies house...so i was left alone, in a quiet car. And for those of you who know me there are two things i don't like alone but especially don't like them together, and that is quiet, and alone.
I would rather be doing something or listening to something instead of just being alone and quiet because then i actually have to think about my life and things in my life. I personally find my car to be a refuge/ hiding place for me but not because i go to talk to God there but because it is a place where i can escape (now that is an honest answer for you).
So, the cd player is dead and I'm alone, in my quiet car. At which point i say to myself that I could just sing my own songs or i could really deal with some questions that i've been wanting to ask God and havent'. So, i asked one question and ultimately came up with a couple of answers.
Answer:
1. God is not required to bless us all equally
2. God is not required to tell me
3. I am often more like the prodigal son's brother than i am the prodigal son.
so I have a question for you...what was my question?
Can you solve the riddle?

my car is my favorite place to talk to God...maybe because it is completely "secure"...i can say anything i want, and nobody will hear me but God.
and actually, sometimes i'll turn my music off...and just sing instead :) i'm silly.
ok I"ve thought about this and no matter what YOUR question was, the question could be answered with
"WHY?"
Why her and not me?
Why them and Not Me?
Why ME and not them?
WHY WHY WHY...
and the answer is always
"Trust ME".
Well, done!!! YOU hit in on the nail...Thanks Donna,
