So, today i was walking to lunch and there were two teachers and two students in front of me talking...I wasn't paying any attention to what they were saying until Kayla says "Shhhh...she's walking right behind us" it is at that moment that the other 3 turn around and look at me and then turn back around and the once talkative group is now very silent.
Then Kayla says to Jeremy "DATE! as in put the Date on the Ornament Jeremy".... Yeah i know it is rather supicious to me too...because i don't even really talk to any of the people that were in the group ahead of me. However, they are all English people and Nathan is an English major...
Needless to say, i wasn't ambrassed if they were saying that Nathan and i are going on a date...because that means that he considers it a date, other people consider it a date..and it also means that he is talking about me..(in a good way) and that makes me feel special.
Oh yeah, Nathan and i are going out Friday night after i get out of work (which is like 10:00pm)...now the question is...Can i consider this a date? or is there some written rule that it is not a date unless the man asks?
What do you think.?

Just sit back and let him decide. Who cares what the technical term is. What matters, is whether he wants to continue doing things with you or not.
Don't scare him away by making him define his motives right at the beginning...give him some time to figure it out for himself.
Good advice Elizabeth, very good advice..I like it and i think i will do just that...thanks
You are going out...YAH!! Go have fun...you deserve it...keep your head on and don't overanalyze... you deserve to have some fun and just see it as an opportunity! I am glad I have yours too and I understand...that's why I started my own too.
a date is when two people purposely get together for the purpose of being together. it's a date.
i'm not sure I follow the "put the date on the ornament talk, but you can fill me in tomorrow whenever you get back from your date....It'll be an hour earlier here and if there are any juicy details, you gotta tell me.
And you do realize that if he finds this blog, you are SO in trouble? He'll find out you can't spell "embarass"....embarrass...emmbarrass...whatever.
I was an English person too, but I still can't spell it....
oh my word...if he ever found this blog..trouble won't even describe where i will be.
He'll read all these crazy comments and be like..."So that is where she gets all her craziness from...do i really want to be apart of that?"
