My Christmas

My christmas was better than i ever even imagined it could be...the only thing that would have made it 100% complete was if the Ryere's would have been there. Let me tell you about my christmas.

I worked on Christmas eve and it was still kind of hectic...many complications going on at the bug. Anyways, when i finally got on my way to the Warners i just began to cry...because part of me just didn't really care about Christmas anymore i guess because i didn't need any special day to remind me of things like loving others, and Christ that i remember everyday...but i made a commitment to enjoy this christmas and whatever blessings that God would bring my way.

So i arrive at the Warners and Amy begins to pass out presents and of course i couldn't wait to open the present Vanessa sent out to me...but then Amy says..."Sara, now you need to know that you have more presents than all of us.." In my mind i though ' how is that possible, how many presents did Rob and Vanessa send me?' She then told me how all the ladies at Faith Baptist Church all pitched in and each got me different presents...I was astonished...I am still astonished..

Here's a brief list of the things given to me

Very nice towels (yellow and Blue)
Lots of Body wash (i even have chocolate smelling body wash)
Some really cool coasters
Soap
4 very nice shirts
a small flash light with batteries (given to me by Boss man himself...i laughed really hard)
Candles (that i will enjoy burning when i get out of BBC)
Mary Kay products
Awesome Pink Fuzzy big foot monster slippers
hand made jewlry
A walmart gift card
A gas card gift card
Funky Magazine Bible (which i've enjoyed reading)

On Saturday my roommate asked me what i wanted for Christmas...I said "Lydia, i never think about what i want because i don't really expect to get much..so i just gladly recieve whatever it is that i do get..." Saturday night i recieved so much...Blessings that i never even dreamed of asking for.

Sometimes we make decisions about our lives and we begin to doubt whether or not it was the correct decision to make and then God goes and does something that just seems to say...'Don't worry you're doing what i want you to do and you are exactly where i want you to be.'

I had such a rough semester and there were several times i wasn't sure i would make it through and this was just an incredible way to end one year...and begin another.

Donna, you can let everyone at Church know that i definatelly felt loved this Christmas.
