1st and Last till March

This blog will be my first and last comment about the Emerging Church until March.

Those that actually read this site know that Vintage Chruch in Arkansas is a place that i'm am considering going to after I graduate (if they'll still take me). However, this whole Emerging Church "issue" or "controversy" whatever someone wants to call it...seems to have seriously fogged up my glasses. So, here is where i stand on CHURCH and ministry.

I will be apart of a church that loves Jesus Christ and that love for him manifest itself by the outpouring of that love into the lives around them.
I will be apart of a church that knows when to step back and pray before moving forward. A church that seeks to meet the needs of the members within it's own body in order that those members may be able to reach to those that are out of it.

I will be apart of a Church that is willing to cry with someone over their sin. A Church that puts loving arms around and helps to lift up and brush off the dirt. A church that whispers sweet loves songs for their Lord into the ears of those that need HIM.

I will be apart of a Church that rests and trusts in their Lord and that have a consitent growing relationship with their Savior.

This is where i stand in Church and ministry. The point is I will never belong to a church that i fully agree with...i belong to one now in Dimock P.A that some of my views differ greatly..but the church in Dimock is the type of Church that i described above even though the people in the church aren't perfect.

Whereever i end up after graduation..i will make sure that i belong to a church like the discription above whether that happens to be an "Emerging Church" in Arkansas...or a Fundamental Baptist Church in (whatever state i could go). So where i go after graduation i will let everyone know in March....right now i have other things that i need to be focused on..but know this:

I will be apart of a Church that loves...because that is what Jesus did, he loved the pious and self-righteous, as well as the prostitute and tax collector..he loved...and so i will do my best to be apart of a church that loves.
